REST has organized 4 zonal level annual programme review meetings between February 04 and 15, 2010 in Axum, Adigrat and Mekelle. The main purpose of these review meetings was to evaluate FY 2009 Performance, critically discuss on challenges faced and lessons/best practices learnt during the programme period. In addition to this FY 2010 Plan was also presented and discussed. Main issues raised during the workshops as point of discussion include: innovations and new practices among programme beneficiaries, annual achievements against plan, transfer predictability and major challenges encountered during the programme period.

The Central Zone annual review meeting was carried out in Axum by which 262 participants were in attendance including: REST Executive Director, Ato Teklewoini Assefa, Department heads and senior staffs from REST Head Office, Zonal Administrators, Representative from Regional Early Warning Response and Food Security Core process, Wareda Food Security Task Force Members from the ten operational Waredas in the zone and REST Project Coordination Office Staff.
The remaining two workshops were held in Adigrat, for Easter Zone and Mekelle for Southern and South-eastern Zones whereby at total of 240 participants were drown from 15 Waredas.
